Vitro officials say unfair competition has put pressure on their Meadville operations, which employ around 400 workers locally.Meanwhile, a statewide nonprofit is expanding support services for new moms across Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh-based NurturePA is now offering free text-based mentoring for expectant mothers and parents with children up to age five.
